Sundsvall-Härnösand Airport or Midlanda Airport (IATA: SDL, ICAO: ESNN) is located about 21 km north of Sundsvall and 32 km south of Härnösand, Sweden.
Sundsvall-Härnösand airport is north Sweden's (Norrland) fourth-busiest airport and the country's eleventh busiest. The airport counted 336,345 passengers in 2007, which includes 315,581 domestic/ 20,764 international passengers. Charter traffic operates Egypt, Lanzarote, Turkey, Gran Canaria, Crete, Mallorca and Bulgaria.
It was built on delta land formed from sea by much sediment and flood debris washed down the Indalsälven river to the sea when the lake Ragundasjön drained suddenly catastrophically in 1796.
